It’s rare to find a vocal instructor who is so comfortable in both classical and popular genres, and I feel so excited to have Madeleine teaching my daughter! Her ability to teach pop, jazz, Motown, Latin, rock, classical and many other styles allows her to adapt her lessons to her student’s favorite kind of music. Madeleine can help vocalists work on their technique, breath control, vocal performance and other skills essential to today’s singer.

Madeleine is like a whirlwind of positive energy! I am an actor who works mostly in film, but I wanted to make the transition to the stage. I got a note from a local casting director that I need to work on connecting to my voice. I found Madeleine and I am so glad that I did! In our first lesson together I was connecting to my voice and my emotions in big ways! It felt incredible to honestly connect to my voice (instead of faking it and shouting!) and it has lead to so much honesty in my performances. I really don’t know how I went this long without it! I just want to put her in my pocket and take her wherever I go! I love you Maddie!!

It has been my dream for years to sing with my husband at karaoke. But I never had the confidence. I always felt like my voice wasn’t anything special. But Madeleine helped me to open my voice in ways that I never thought possible! I feel like I have a whole new voice! I am able to sing notes that I never could reach before. I have so much confidence, that I sing at Karaoke every week now! I’ve even gotten a couple of roles in my local theater! Madeleine has an amazing gift for reaching inside of a person’s heart, and inspiring their soul to sing! I’ve never had big plans for the stage. I just wanted to be able to sing. I never could and I was told that singing was something that just wasn’t for me. But all I knew was that I loved to sing. I didn’t know how to let it out. Many times, when I tried to sing before, I felt my entire body close up and kept the sound from coming out. Madeleine was so compassionate to what I was going through. She made me feel like it was safe to explore my voice without ridicule, or judgment. (Even from myself) And while I still don’t have big plans for the stage, for the first time in my life, I feel the most incredible freedom!!! Many thanks!!!

I am an aspiring singer/songwriter who has studied voice for the past 10 years. I thought I had the tools that I needed for expanding my range and bringing out my authentic voice. But every time I sang, I just felt like it wasn’t the best representation of who I am as an artist. It sounded strained and manipulated. And I realized that I still had all the same “issues” that I had when I first started. I still had many breaks in my range; couldn’t hit notes comfortably; and was getting really frustrated with my breathing. After just a few lessons with Madeleine, I am breathing comfortably. I feel so free in my voice now that I can confidently hit any note in my range with ease. And I finally love the sound that is coming out! I really feel like for the first time my voice and my music are one! I cannot thank you enough!
